Oracle accepts submissions nationally and internationally in a variety of genres of creative writing and visual art. Feel free to view past issues online in our archive.
Published since 2003, Oracle is supported by the University of South Alabama Student Government Association, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Departments of English and Visual Arts, and it is available at no charge to students, faculty, and staff. The journal is student-run and uses a blind-review process with multiple evaluations of all submissions.
For each piece of work, specify what medium you used and what category you would like to submit to in the body of your submission email. Make sure your work is titled. Submit all work in CMYK, 300 dpi, JPEG format, and title each document “[Last Name]_[Title of Work].” This year's theme is "time," whatever that may mean to you.
Maximum of three (3) pieces per artist.
Please submit each piece as a separate file and remove identifying information within the file.
